Jericho (4 x 95 minutes) is a thrilling period crime drama series starring BAFTA winner Robert Lindsay (Hornblower, Oliver Twist, My Family) as Chief Inspector Michael Jericho of Scotland Yard, a respected, uncompromising and forward thinking detective investigating high-profile murders in 1950s London. Set in a fascinating period of Britain’s social history, London saw an explosion of colour and shifting attitudes after the Second World War. My Family's Robert Lindsay has landed a deal to front a cop series for them. In time-honoured tradition (Morse, Taggart, etc), the show will be called after his character's surname, Jericho. Set in the 50s, Robert plays Detective Inspector Michael Jericho, one of Scotland Yard's finest. The four two-hour episodes, which will be shown next year, will also feature ex-EastEnders star Brooke Kinsella (she played tarty Kelly, remember?) and Francesca Annis. It also marks the television
drama debut of Cherie Lunghi's daughter, Nathalie.
